Knowledge that is accurate, practical and pitched at the person in front of us: a seven-year-old, a worried parent, a class teacher.
The Range Alliance is a Kenyan initiative providing resources, peer community and practical education to children living with diabetes and the people who care for them.

A diabetes diagnosis rarely lands on a child alone. It reshapes mealtimes, school days, travel and sleep for an entire family, often with very little guidance beyond the clinic appointment.
We started The Range Alliance to fill that space: a place where children learn to manage their own condition with confidence, parents find people who understand the day-to-day of it, and teachers get the practical briefing they need to keep a pupil safe and fully included.
Everything we run is designed to sit alongside a child’s medical care, never to replace it.
Knowledge that is accurate, practical and pitched at the person in front of us: a seven-year-old, a worried parent, a class teacher.
Independence is the goal. We hand over the routine step by step, so a child owns their own management as they grow.
Community and advocacy, so families are heard and childhood diabetes is understood well beyond the clinic walls.
Reach any one of these groups and you help a child. Reach all four and you change how their whole week feels.
Tell us about your family, your school or your organisation and we will come back to you.
